Job Summary

1)Job Purpose:To formulate Execute and manage sales operations for aluminium upstream products & recycled products in assigned territory for driving market share growth net realization and customer satisfaction within the territory. Responsible for executing business strategies through deep customer engagement market intelligence and optimizing the product mix to maximize profitability.

To have close collaboration with production and logistics teams to ensure efficient order fulfilment and timely delivery. Accountable for fostering strong customer relationships identifying new business opportunities and supporting commercial excellence initiatives to sustain competitive advantage.

Supporting Actions

Safety

  • Ensuring Safety compliance in all workings.
  • Preparing and Reviewing SOPs and SWIs for material handling at sales points.
  • Monthly visit to Godown for safety audits and assessment

Sustainability

  • Studying trends in recycling market with better sustainability outlooks and assist plant team and market development team for implementation.
  • Collect intelligence assess the feasibility and coordinate with Technical and Market development team for latest developments in sustainability improvement.
  • Collecting information from customers for any possible reduction in packing wastes at customers end without compromising packing quality.

Cash: Sales

  • Develop and execute sales plans in the territory to ensure achievement of sales and market share targets and net realizations as per the plan.
  • Interact with customers and understand their process & needs.
  • Negotiate and finalize orders in consultation with Regional Manager
  • Follow up with factory for timely execution of orders.
  • Collect market intelligence (Latest development competitor activity etc.) and provide market feedback to regional sales manager.
  • Assess potential Prospect and develop new customers.
  • Study the market for new applications. Assist the regional Sales Manager in execution of new product development/application plan. Track pilot supply. Obtain feedback from the customer on its trial and provide regular reports to the regional sales Manager.
  • Analysing local economics to understand future market prospects

Cash: Cash Flow

  • Co-ordinate with Sales Accounts for periodic information.
  • Set up systems with the customers to ensure timely collections.
  • Provide feedback to the regional Sales Manager.

Cost

  • Efficiently planning all Customer visits to reduce travel expenses without compromising customer contact.
  • Coordinating with dispatch team packing team transporters and customers to avoid material damage during transit and loading-unloading to ensure zero material return and avoid unplanned expenses.
  • Negotiating with customers to maintain Financial and Delivery costs as per P&B if needed.

Customer Centricity

  • Develop and maintain good relationships with all customers in territory.
  • Attend all pre-and-post sales customer complaints and get them resolved on time.
  • Assist customers with technical support for operation at their end along with HIL technical representative and plant team.
  • Ensuring timely settlement of each customer account.
  • Keeping in touch with inactive customers inside and outside territory for future business.

Systems / Organization/
Process / Governance / People

  • Preparing all MIS documents (LME Working Sheet NR Discount File Market Map Industry NR Territory MIS etc.) on time and sharing with stakeholders.
  • Improving the MIS documenting process to reduce time.
  • Improving order placement execution and customer accounting system for efficiency
