Do you combine scientific depth with strong presentation skills Do you enjoy being in front of customers building relationships and turning complex data into clear compelling insights We are looking for a Field Bioinformatic Scientist who thrives in a dynamic customer-facing environment and is excited to represent world-leading proteomic solutions across China and beyond.

The Opportunity

In this field-based role you will act as a trusted scientific partner to our customers helping them design studies interpret proteomics data and unlock the full value of their research. This is a highly interactive role where you will combine advanced statistical expertise with strong presentation skills and relationship-building capabilities. You will collaborate closely with colleagues in the local China Commercial team and beyond as well as global colleagues in the Data Science team and engage directly with leading researchers institutions and pharma. This role involves regular travel and flexibility to support customer meetings workshops and scientific events.

What You Will Do

  • Provide expert statistical consultation and advanced data analysis support
  • Advise customers on study design and experimental strategy
  • Troubleshoot customer datasets and deliver actionable insights
  • Lead and participate in customer meetings workshops and scientific trainings
  • Translate complex analytical concepts into clear impactful messages
  • Facilitate customer adoption and effective use of Olink data enabling long-term success

Who You Are

You are more than technically strong you are socially confident adaptable and thrive in customer-facing environments.

You likely bring:

  • MSc or PhD in Bioinformatics Biostatistics Computer Science Molecular Biology or similar
  • Strong experience in advanced statistical analysis within life sciences
  • Strong programming skills in R or Python (RMarkdown and Git are a plus)
  • Experience with high-throughput data (proteomics and/or genomics preferred)
  • A strong analytical mindset and interest in modern statistical methods including machine learning

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills (oral and written)
  • The ability to explain complex analytics to non-technical audiences
  • A collaborative mindset and proven ability to work cross-functionally
  • Confidence in engaging and influencing customers
  • A proactive self-driven approach with minimal supervision
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours to support customer needs
