In this role you will dive into the technical heart of marine DCS projects from initial engineering to the final sea trial. Youll collaborate closely with Engineering Project Management and Supply Chain and customers directly contributing to the success of complex and exciting projects. Join us and turn engineering challenges into milestones for the marine industry.
Your main responsibilities:
Participate to project definition
Participate to project engineering meetings
Develop engineering according to sold scope and LE/Team Leader indications
Identify and report deviations with respect to sold scope to support add-on sales/contract deviation reporting.
Participate to iFAT and cFAT with Customer and Class
Participate to refit activities onboard (either in DD WD or while ship sailing) including installation supervision commissioning and start-up activities
Participate to SAT with Class and Customer
Participate to sea trials
Produce site activities reports and as-built documentation
Traveling is an essential part. Traveling destinations in Asia the USA and Europe. Typical business travel duration is 2-3 weeks max up to 6 weeks. Work on business trips 30-50% of working time.
What do we expect from you
Technical university degree or High school diploma (preferably automation/electronic/informatics)
Min. 3 years experience on process automation systems design
Experience Marine industry sector
Technical knowledge of HW and system aspects in automation systems
Good Engineering skills. Able to configure test and make startup for responsibility area/product alone
Good Knowledge of Valmet AS products
Advanced knowledge of Office suite
Advanced knowledge of Visio
Polish mother tongue/fluent
English fluent/mother tongue
B driving license and willingness to travel
