The Role

Were looking for a skilled Design Engineer to help develop and refine innovative highperformance equipment this role youll serve as a vital link between engineering and production ensuring that every solution meets performance requirements adheres to industry standards and remains costeffective to manufacture.

What Youll Do

Interpret technical specifications and apply relevant industry standards to meet custom design requirements
Develop equipment designs focused on safety performance reliability cost efficiency serviceability and competitiveness
Perform engineering calculations and analyses to support sound technical decisions
Review and optimize manufacturing drawings for accuracy and fabrication efficiency
Prepare detailed technical documentation and procedures for customer submittals
Select materials components and purchased parts including drafting procurement specifications for custom items
Evaluate supplier quotations for technical compliance and overall value
Develop testing procedures and acceptance criteria to validate equipment performance and reliability
Troubleshoot issues encountered during manufacturing testing or field operation
Maintain project schedules identify risks and prioritize key milestones
Track material and labor costs to ensure alignment with project budgets
Assist with estimating and preparing equipment proposals for bid packages

What Were Looking For

Bachelors degree in Chemical Electrical Mechanical or Nuclear Engineering
13 years of experience in design engineering
Proficiency with Microsoft Office online platforms and engineering software tools
Strong ability to interpret and analyze technical drawings and documentation
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy

Additional Requirements

Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening and background check
Authorization to work in the United States
On-site position at our Batavia OH facility
Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 10% annually
