Role: The liquor store manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store managing staff inventory and ensuring compliance with all laws and regulations related to the sale of alcoholic beverages.

Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervise and train staff members including hiring scheduling and performance management.
2. Maintain a high level of customer service and ensure customers are satisfied with their shopping experience.
3. Manage inventory levels including ordering and receiving products as well as conducting regular inventory counts.
4. Ensure compliance with all laws and regulations related to the sale of alcoholic beverages including checking IDs and preventing sales to individuals under the legal drinking age.
5. Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for increasing revenue.
6. Develop and implement strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
7. Maintain a clean and organized store environment including overseeing cleaning and maintenance schedules.
8. Participate in special events and promotions to increase sales and brand awareness.
9. Handle any customer complaints or issues in a professional and effective manner.
10. Keep up to date with industry trends and new products to maintain a competitive edge.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Candidate Requirements:
- Strong skills in customer satisfaction and customer service
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in store and stock management
- Knowledge of Retail loss prevention practices
- Ability to work effectively in a team and manage staff
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Previous experience in retail or Liquor store industry is a mustat supervisor level or higher
- Relevent certifications or training in retail management are adventageous
- Must be willing to work retail related hours weekends and public holidays
- Must reside close to or near the store and alternatively have reliable transport or willing to relocate
Package & Remuneration
salary package negotiable
R15 000 to R25 000
per month depending on experience
