Business Overview

Our Clients & Strategy team covers Business Development Investor Relations External Relations Sustainable Investment and Brand Marketing & Communications including Internal Communications. It is responsible for all communications to investor prospects existing investors and their asset consultants as well as a broad range of other stakeholders including governments and media.

The Role

On a 12 month fixed term contract you will be working with a range of stakeholdersyoullsupport the team inthe delivery of IFMs Sustainable Investment strategy. Liaising and coordinating across IFMyoullfind yourself building strong relationships with diverse people across the business. A key focus of the role is toassistwith variousSustainable Investment-relatedreporting requirements of the firm as well ashelping toprogress IFMs sustainable investment initiatives in areas such asenvironmental action and social is an idealearly careerrole for candidates that wishtodevelopa careerinSustainable Investment.

Activities critical to this role include:

• Assistwiththe delivery of IFMssustainabilityreporting and other externalSIreporting requirements including PRI Submission Annual Modern Slavery Statement Climate-related reporting UK Stewardship Codeetc.
• Assistwithprograms of work relating to sustainable investment initiatives such as climate changehuman rightsnatureand biodiversityetc.
• Assistin theprovisionand coordinationofinput/content into RFPs and investor requests
• Uplift and contribute to the development of marketingand meetingmaterialsand presentationsto enhance the communication of IFMs sustainable investment strategyagendaand outcomes.
• Undertake reviews of evolving investor expectations policy direction and peer reporting and make recommendations for improvementin our positioning or consideration in our strategy or product offering.
• Contribute to thought leadership periodicallyand support internal communications
• Participate in ad-hoc projects asrequiredto support the broader Sustainable Investment team.
• Willingness to work flexibly across time zones including occasional early-morning or evening hours to collaborate effectively with global stakeholders.

Experience

• Sustainability-relatedbackgroundwould be an advantage.
• Experienceworking onmultipleprojects&/orinitiativesinparallel
• Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across global teams to drive outcomes; comfort working across multiple cultures is an advantage
• Willingness to learn and work collaboratively to get large projects completed within hard deadlines
• Abilitytoorganiseworkproactivelyrapidlyandeffectivelygetthingsdone.
• Comfortableworkingwithlevelofambiguityandshowinginitiative ina dynamic environment.
• Demonstratedskillsinwrittenandverbalcommunication.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree preferably with an Sustainability Business Legal orInvestment/Finance/Economicsfocus.

Business knowledge

• UnderstandingofSustainableInvestmentwould beadvantageous.
• Understandingoftheprinciplesrelatingtothedeliveryofadministrative services e.g. confidentiality protocolsfollowing processetc.
• Understandingofthepensionandfundsmanagementsectorsdesirable.
• 3yearsworkinginaprofessionalenvironmentsuchas finance sustainability or ESG within businessgovernmentor not-for-profit.

Technical knowledge

• SkillsinMSOffice(especiallyPowerpointExcel Co-Pilot) & Teams.
• Businesswritingandcommunications.
• BackgroundinSustainabilityReporting/reportingexperiencewould be an advantage.
