Electronics Technician I/II/III

As an Electronics Technician you will support our international Product Hospital operations focusing on product failure troubleshooting analysis repairs and testing. This role is perfect for those who enjoy hands-on component level hardware troubleshooting and failure analysis of electronics products relish problem-solving and are passionate about serving customers globally.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Test repair convert and troubleshoot SEL products to the component level. Provide technical support for SEL products to staff and customers. Collaborate and communicate effectively within an international team environment. Develop and maintain expertise in SEL processes and products to ensure quality and integrity. Train junior department personnel in troubleshooting techniques. Implement department objectives under the direction of your immediate supervisor. Model and apply SEL Values Principles of Operations and World Class Manufacturing Principles. Understand create and simplify SEL processes. Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Strong English reading technical writing and speaking skills
- Two-year electronics engineering technology degree or equivalent
- Basic working knowledge of analog and digital electronics
- Familiarity with modern test equipment
- Willing to travel up to 10% of the time
- Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
- Background check results satisfactory to SEL
- Negative drug test result(s)
Preferred Qualifications
- Component level troubleshooting experience
- Knowledge of SEL equipment
- Technical presentation skills
- Data analysis skills
Physical Requirements
Lift push pull and maneuver up to 20 pounds frequently and up to 35 pounds occasionally
Sit and stand for at least 8 hours
Vision correctable to 20/30 or better
Ability to differentiate color
Use of computer keyboard devices
