Job Summary

We are looking to add a PM Housekeeping Supervisor to our team. The PM Housekeeping Supervisor oversees evening housekeeping operations to ensure the resort maintains the highest standards of cleanliness guest satisfaction and safety across all guest rooms public areas and back-of-house spaces. Working in a beachfront environment this role coordinates evening staff conducts quality roominspections managers linen and supply levels and responds promptly to guest service requests.

The PM Supervisor provides hands-on support to the housekeeping team ensures that rooms are turned down or refreshed efficiently and maintains cleanliness in high-traffic resort areas such as the lobby banquet pre-function space public restrooms and pool deck. This role also managers end of day reporting communicates with the Front Office and Maintenance teams and ensures compliancewith resort sustainability and hygiene standards. Ideal candidate wil be proactive detail-oriented with strong communication skills and the ability to motivate teams during evening operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervises housekeeping staff as duties are being performed
  • Supervises the duties and tasks of laundry staff
  • Stocks and maintains supply rooms; orders supplies according to a budget
  • Receives processes and handles guest complaints in regard to housekeeping services
  • Ensures that rooms are kept clean and free from hazards
  • Ensures that all common areas are kept clean and free from hazards
  • Organizes all staff during the day and hosts daily meetings with housekeeping staff
  • Assists guests with questions and basic requests
  • Provides a high level of customer service at all times; remains professional
  • Trains new housekeepers and support staff
  • Meets with company officials regularly in order to provide progress reports and address issues

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED a plus but not required
  • Previous experience in housekeeping supervision
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Good time management and organizational skills
  • Conflict resolution experience
  • Patience and good listening skills
