Job Summary

EAPC has an opportunity for a Mechanical Engineering Student Intern to join our team! This position would provide support to a Mechanical Engineer on various commercial projects as well as provide an opportunity to provide real world application for a candidate in a Mechanical Engineering bachelor program.

As a Mechanical Engineering Student Intern at EAPC you will:

  • Work as an Integrated Member of a Multi-Discipline In-House Team of Engineers Architects and Drafting Specialists working with AutoCAD and REVIT
  • Assist engineers and CAD Specialists with completing project design documentation calculations research CAD drawings and/or reports
  • Assist project engineers and CAD Specialists in preparing project cost estimates reports and design documents
  • Assist engineers with calculations and CAD design
  • Assist engineers in preparation of reports department procedures techniques and standards
  • Other related duties as assigned

  • Excellent verbal/written communication
  • Able to manage time prioritize tasks stay organized
  • Excellent design skills and attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn and accepting coaching/mentoring
  • Must be highly motivated proactive and willing to take on new challenges.
  • Able to learn and use software

Qualifications:

  • Current Engineering Student with at least 2 years completed in Mechanical Engineering curriculum
  • Design experience a plus
  • Must proficient in MS Office and basic office equipment
  • Knowledgeable
  • Valid drivers license
  • Eligible to work in the U.S.

This is a non-benefitted position with variable hours contingent on capacity and availability.
