About the Role

We are looking for an IT Systems Engineer to support and maintain our global IT this role you will work closely with Virtuozzo team members worldwide supporting both physical infrastructure and SaaS systems to ensure the 24/7 availability of servers services and internal systems.

You will join an established IT team and help scale our infrastructure to support our growing international organization. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on systems administration troubleshooting and continuous improvement of IT operations.

What Youll Be Doing

As part of our IT team you will:

• Provide day-to-day support through the IT helpdesk
• Manage access to SaaS systems including regular reconciliation
• Set up and manage email accounts groups and calendars (Microsoft 365 Active Directory)
• Install configure and upgrade software for self-hosted systems
• Perform server maintenance patching and upgrades
• Monitor servers and services resolving or escalating incidents as needed
• Troubleshoot outages and prepare RFO (Reason for Outage) documentation when required
• Support employee onboarding and offboarding IT processes
• Collaborate with the wider IT and Security teams to document and improve internal workflows
• Contribute to improving overall IT security hygiene and policies
• Assist with hardware setup maintenance and asset lifecycle management
• Plan and deliver IT assets to employees

What Were Looking For

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Linux administration including RHEL/CentOS and Debian/Ubuntu
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP DNS routing etc.)
• Working knowledge of Windows and macOS systems
• Experience administering Microsoft 365 Exchange Online and Active Directory
• Good understanding of IT hardware and system maintenance
• Strong spoken and written English skills
• Ability to troubleshoot independently and work collaboratively in a team

Nice to Have

• Experience in an IT helpdesk or customer support environment
• Exposure to virtualization platforms
• Experience with technologies such as:
  • Apache Nginx
  • MySQL PostgreSQL
  • Zabbix
  • Puppet or Ansible
  • Docker and Kubernetes
