Job Summary

The position is for a Senior Engineer (Reinforced Concrete Specialist) within a prominent Hong Kong-based main contractor renowned for delivering high-profile building civil and infrastructure projects since the mid-1950s including major railway extensions station developments and large-scale public works.

This role managed through 3C RGH () a specialist recruitment firm focused on construction and engineering talent across Hong Kong and internationally requires an experienced professional to oversee technical aspects of reinforced concrete works.

Key Responsibilities

Review structural design packages and prepare/verify Bar Bending Schedules (BBS).
Coordinate working drawings and interface closely with rebar fixing subcontractors to ensure accurate implementation.
Ensure full compliance with Buildings Department submission requirements the Code of Practice for Structural Use of Concrete and CS2 standards for reinforcement bars.
Lead and supervise a team of three engineers in conducting on-site quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) activities and inspections.

Requirements

A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Hong Kong construction projects preferably with a main contractor or consultancy.
In-depth knowledge of rebar detailing and execution in MTR or large-scale infrastructure developments.
No mandatory MHKIE membership is required.
Strong technical acumen in reinforced concrete works combined with effective coordination and supervisory skills.
