Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer (Entry Level)

Schedule: 1st Shift

Duration: 12-Month Contract (extension possible or FTE Conversion)

Position Summary
The Manufacturing Engineer supports production operations by developing and improving manufacturing processes routings and programs that drive efficiency and quality. This role collaborates closely with production engineering and operations teams to review new product releases improve manufacturing methods and provide shop-floor technical support.
The position also assists in evaluating new equipment and tooling opportunities while ensuring accurate and efficient manufacturing documentation and programming.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain accurate N/C programs to support efficient production operations.
Analyze manufacturing processes to identify potential issues inefficiencies or opportunities for improvement.
Collaborate with production engineering and cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and operational efficiency.
Participate in scheduled meetings to coordinate manufacturing updates and improvements across departments.
Assist with evaluating and recommending new equipment tooling and manufacturing technologies.
Provide technical support on the shop floor to improve coordination between manufacturing teams.
Review new product releases to ensure designs are optimized for manufacturing processes.
Serve as backup support for the Shop Supervisor when needed.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
Internship experience or 6 months of related manufacturing or engineering experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with CAD modeling software.
Exposure to mechanical design principles.
Understanding of material science and its application within product design and manufacturing.
Additional Information
Facility shutdown scheduled between Christmas and New Years.
