HCA Florida North Florida Hospital in collaboration with UCF College of Medicine (UCF COM) and a respected private practice is excited to announce the launch of a new ACGME-accredited Cardiovascular Disease fellowship program set to begin in 2027. We are seeking an Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiologist to join our growing cardiology initiative and provide visionary leadership mentorship and oversight to our new Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship Program as Program Duties:Ideal candidates will bring a passion for teaching leadership and clinical excellence as they:Provide advanced heart failure general cardiology and mechanical circulatory support (MCS) care in both inpatient and outpatient in multidisciplinary heart failure and cardiogenic shock develop an Advanced Heart Failure Network regionally across a 15 hospital division of HCA North Florida echocardiograms and perform other cardiac procedures as appropriate to subspecialty in attending responsibilities for general cardiology and advanced heart failure inpatient in clinical research and quality improvement Leadership:Serve as Program Director for the Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship Program in accordance with ACGME curriculum development trainee recruitment evaluation and fellows and residents in clinical and scholarly a culture of academic excellence professionalism and innovation in cardiovascular with institutional UCF COM Graduate Medical Education leadership to ensure program compliance and continuous and Academic Activities:Engage in clinical or translational research in heart failure transplantation or general cardiovascular to peer-reviewed publications and presentations at national grant development and scholarly collaboration within the Division and Qualifications:MD or DO certification in Cardiovascular of an ACGME-accredited Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology for medical licensure in have at least three (3) years of documented educational and / or administrative experience in an ACGME-accredited internal medicine residency OR cardiovascular disease ability to balance administrative leadership with hands-on teaching and clinical interpersonal communication and team-building scholarly activity (e.g. peer-reviewed research publications national presentations committee involvement) is highly rank and salary commensurate with experience and & Benefits:Direct employment with the private appointment with UCF College of opportunities with UCF COM support system for clinical and academic success.
