Job Description
As a Security Officer - Association Patrol Driver in Wellington FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a premier residential community. You will conduct routine mobile and foot patrols stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents assist with access control and visitor activity and respond to requests with calm customer-focused communication. This is a driving post so a valid drivers license is required. Bring integrity and teamwork to a caring agile and reliable team.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to residents guests and vendors by following site-specific procedures and access control requirements within a residential community location.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of common areas amenities parking areas and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or property damage.
- Monitor for and respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner contacting emergency services and/or Allied Universal management as needed.
- Control entry and exit at designated access points by verifying authorization issuing visitor instructions and documenting activity per post orders.
- Complete routine reports incident documentation and shift logs and communicate relevant updates to oncoming personnel and/or property management.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have 2 years of law enforcement military police and/or corrections experience.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Have access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Possess a Guard Card
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
