The PSN group is opening a Research engineer position in the field of fiber-refractometry using photonic integrated circuits
Job Description
The successful candidate will perform measurements and data analysis on fiber-tip refractometers based on photonic integrated circuits
Job Requirements
- Motivated researcher with a Master in Applied Physics
- Experience in refractive index and temperature measurements using optical fibers is required
- Ability to conduct high quality academic research reflected in demonstratable outputs.
- A team player who enjoys working with PhD and Masters students
- A proven ability to manage complex projects to completion on schedule.
- Excellent (written and verbal) proficiency in English good communication and leadership skills.

- Full-time employment for 4 months.
- Salary in accordance with the Collective Labour Agreement for Dutch Universities scale 7 (min. 3057 max. 3985).
