What You Will Do *
This is a transactional procurement role where the successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day management of a number of orderbooks covering both high and low complex components and assemblies.
Main Duties (Leading and/or Supporting):
- Executes purchase orders and amendments within existing contracts and pricing agreements
- Manages day-to-day orderbook health confirmations schedules expedites and invoice payments
- Provides real-time operational communication to MPMs/PMs/CMs on reschedules and sales forecasts
- Undertakes RFP/Qs to support programme requirements
- Manages supplier relationships on Leverage and Bottleneck supplier accounts
- Manages the day-to-day supplier performance management delivery quality responsiveness and services levels on Leverage and Bottleneck suppliers
- Monitors KPIs/PIs (OTIF N/Cs etc.) and using CORE principles leads corrective action initiatives
- May facilitate operational business reviews and escalations with agreed suppliers
- Provides intel to Commodity leads to inform broader commodity strategy
- Manages Non-conformance issues facilitating RTVs rework scrappage etc
Essential Skills:
- Experience in Supply Chain Subcontract Management Procurement Commodity and/or related field
- Flexible and positive attitude
- Able to lead or perform effectively in a multi functional team
- Excellent verbal and written communications
- Experience in proposal and programme governance activities
- Experience in or exposure to negotiating Low/medium complexity non-standard agreements
- Experience of problem solving and dispute resolution
- Experience or knowledge of MRP SAP and purchase order placement/ material receipt processes
- Administration of delivery/acceptance/invoicing of goods and service.
Desirable Skills:
- Related degree/MCIPS/BA or equivalent.
- Experience of Team mate selection and Teaming Agreements
- Experience of developing and managing Subcontractor Relationship Management and collaborative working
- Knowledge of import/export legislation and logistical requirements
- Experience of working with international suppliers/programmes
- 6 Sigma process improvement skillset
