Position Description: We are seeking an experienced OpenText Engineer with strong expertise in designing developing upgrading and integrating enterprise content management solutions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in OpenText Content Server development workflow customization system integrations and production support in complex enterprise environments.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
Design and develop new applications forms reports and workflows leveraging OpenText Content Server
Build and modify Content Server workflows forms reports and custom taxonomy/metadata as per specifications
Enhance and expand existing applications to meet evolving business needs
Responsible for integration of OpenText with enterprise platforms such as Microsoft Outlook SAP and other third-party systems using REST APIs and web services. Experience in system upgrades patches automation troubleshooting and performance optimization is essential.
Collaborate with stakeholders on requirements gathering and solution design
Provide effort estimates and prepare technical specifications based on functional requirements
Design and develop solutions following established development standards
Perform unit testing and support functional acceptance testing (FAT)
Ensure timely defect resolution to avoid project delays
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues; identify root causes and coordinate with vendors for fixes
Perform daily administration of the application environment
Develop and implement automation to reduce downtime and improve system efficiency
Create and implement approved change requests for system functionality and configuration
Modify enhance or develop solutions to meet business requirements
Review plan test and implement system upgrades and enhancements
Partner with development teams to improve system functionality and quality
Review and apply system patches
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Must-Hava Skills:
5 years of hands-on experience in OpenText Content Server and Archive Server
Strong development experience in Content Server (10.5 / 16 versions preferred)
Experience in system upgrades and enhancements
Production support & troubleshooting experience
SQL Server database knowledge
Strong integration experience with enterprise systems such as: Microsoft Outlook
Good-to-Have Skills:
Expertise in OScriptContent Server Web ServicesRest APIs:
Strong integration experience with enterprise systems such as: SAPOther ECM systemsThird-party applications using REST / Web Services
