Our centrally located office places you right in the heart of the city surrounded by great coffee food spots and everything the CBD has to closely with journalists producers and editorial leaders youll play a handson role in uncovering developing and delivering compelling stories for LiSTNRs weekly Secrets We Keep Podcast. From investigation and interviews through to hosting and publication this role offers endtoend involvement in the podcast lifecycle.A day in the life Lead the endtoend creation of weekly investigative and feature podcasts for LiSTNR Factual from story idea to investigate and report compelling stories through interviews analysis and field record and host original audio content with opportunities to contribute across SCAs digital closely with producers editors and creative teams to shape strong narratives and highquality audio and mentor junior team members while staying across emerging trends in journalism and Youll NeedDemonstrated journalism experience across news investigations features or specialist content including reporting stories firsthand and on the research investigation and analysis capability including conducting inperson interviews data analysis and information gathering with a strong understanding of narrative ability to manage multiple projects deadlines and stakeholders in a fastpaced editorial judgement factchecking discipline and a sound working knowledge of Australian media law and journalistic team contributor with the ability to support other journalists or producers through knowledgesharing and mentorship. Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to build effective relationships across diverse communities contributors and internal us sweeten the deal!
