Job Description
As a Security Officer Armed Vehicle-Patrol Clearance Required in Fort Worth TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees visitors and/or contractors by following site-specific policies access control requirements and security-related procedures including emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Carry and maintain assigned duty weapon and related equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies client post orders and applicable laws and/or regulations.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings production areas parking lots and perimeter lines monitoring for unusual activity unsecured doors and/or policy violations that may help to deter unauthorized access.
- Monitor alarms cameras and/or other detection systems respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and coordinate with site contacts and public responders as needed.
- Document patrol activity incidents and observations in logs and reports complete required check-ins and communicate status updates to supervision in a timely manner.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement military and/or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
- Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Hold a Texas Level III Armed Certification.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
