Job Description Summary

Operate Pea Harvest equipment and/or tractor. The position is seasonal. Late May to mid-July

Job Description

Operates harvesters tractors and tractor-drawn machinery for all phases of harvesting operations.
Fills out work sheets as needed.
Cleans and maintains equipment per Lamb Weston Food Safety Policy
Performs routine duties with minimal supervision.
Comply with all safety policies practices and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to Supervisor and/or Human Resources
Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic & Preferred Qualifications

Education/ Certifications: (Required & Preferred)

Valid state issued Driver License

Skills and Experience:

Basic verbal communication skills
No experience required.

Physical Environment/Demands:

Some travel may be required (75% of time if significant)
Incumbents may sit for long periods of time in a pea combine.
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to sit use hands to finger handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
Stooping bending twisting and reaching may be required in completion of job duties.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and to stand walk bend stoop twist and turn frequently.
Exposed to a noisy environment that varies from hot to cold in temperature.
Ability to do repetitious arm wrist and hand movements required for job actions and procedures.
Must be able to work with hands and arms overhead and to work in or under the equipment.
Requires manual dexterity overall coordination and good balance to work both at ground level and in high places to perform job duties. Ability to operate work related equipment.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Valid Drivers License and driving record that meets Lamb Weston Driving Standards
Climbing to various heights via stairs or ladders on a regular basis
