Full-Time and PRN Opportunities for talented Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants!

Onalaska Care Center in partnership with Greenfield Rehabilitation Agency is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our therapy team in either a full-time or PRN capacity. This is an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality care in a supportive senior living environment.

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Responsibilities

  • Provide occupational therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist

  • Implement individualized treatment plans focused on improving residents functional independence

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) mobility strength coordination and cognitive skills

  • Monitor resident performance and report progress to the supervising OT

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations

  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support optimal resident outcomes

  • Educate residents and caregivers on adaptive techniques and equipment use

  • Foster a positive and supportive therapy environment

Qualifications & Attributes

  • Licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in the state of Wisconsin

  • Experience in skilled nursing assisted living or senior rehabilitation preferred

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Compassionate patient-focused approach

  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities

  • Commitment to clinical excellence and professional development

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited school with an associate degree as a an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
  • Certification or license as required by the State of Wisconsin to practice asOccupational Therapy Assistant.
