Bowser Automotive is seeking an * Express Service Advisor for our Nissan Service Department. *
The primary responsibility is to be the liaison between the Service Dept and the Express Service Customers while providing outstanding customer service and maximizing the sales of express services and related parts.
The ideal candidate will have sales experience as well as strong communication skills in order to effectively and clearly write the general nature of automotive needsadminister appropriate warranties verify intended methods of payment while maintaining the highest level of customer service (CSI).
DUTIES:
- Sell Express service and related parts to customers
- Identify customer requests and qualify vehicle for Express Service
- Conduct a limited vehicle walk-around
- Present multi-point inspection results to customers
- Recommend needed express services
- Provide outstanding customer service in accordance with dealership policies
- Maintain current knowledge of vehicle service requirements operations warranties and campaigns and Technical Service Bulletins
- Maintain current knowledge of state and local laws and regulations related to automotive service and repair
- Write complete and accurate repair orders in accordance with dealership policies
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
- Experience in automobile dealership or independent repair facility
- General knowledge of vehicle mechanical operations
- ASE certification preferred
- Professional demeanor
- Valid drivers license in good standing
- Ability to lift and move objects weighing 10 - 25 lbs.
- Ability to drive cars and trucks (automatic & standard transmissions)
