Job Summary
Ideal candidates are organized customer service-centric and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. Candidates must have experience serving bartending breaking down and setting up banquets buffet style.
Ideal candidates have flexible schedules with availability to work weekends and holidays as needed.

- Prepares function siteâsâ âand âassures meeting roomsââ areâ set according to specifications.
- Serves food and beverage items to guests based on established guidelines.
- ââSets dining tables buffets and other service areas âaccording to Banquet Event Order or as directed.âââ
- âââAttends and actively participates in pre-shift meetingsââââ.
- Communicates âspecial ârequests and concerns to the department manager.
- ââHelps to maintain clean banquet âand âkitchenâ areas.
- âââOversees all equipment with care.ââ
- Assists in inventory control and monitoring waste in the banquet or catering area.
- Ensures the guests are provided with excellent customer service by anticipating their needs before they arise.
- Incorporates safeâ and sanitaryâ work practices â throughoutâ job performance.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Maintains exceptional personal hygiene and positive representation of the organization to employees clients and vendors.
- Performs other duties as required.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience andâ â trainingâ. â
- Frequently stands and walks; uses hands; reaches with arms and hands; stoops kneels crawls or crouches; talks or hears.
- Occasionally sits climbs or balances.
- Frequently lifts up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds.
- Occasionallyâ works in outdoor weather conditions.
- Noise level is moderate.â
- ââServSafe Certified (Food & Alcohol) or TIPS equivalent. â
- Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English).
