The Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP) is seeking an International Program Specialist to support the Virginia Leaders in Export Trade (VALET) Program. VALET is a two-year international business acceleration program that provides Virginia businesses with international sales plan development services educational events funding for international activities and customized market research.
The International Program Specialist is responsible for helping to plan orientation and other program events reviewing and processing reimbursements for Virginia businesses providing advisory support on market research supporting special projects and initiatives and developing marketing content to communicate with the VALET Program community.
This position is part of VEDPs International Trade division which is recognized as the leading state international trade development program in the U.S. The International Trade division provides a range of resources such as customized market research international business meetings and programs to help Virginia companies grow their international sales. This position is based in VEDPs office in Richmond Virginia three days each week and has the option to telework two days each week according to VEDPs hybrid work policy. This position requires occasional in-state and international travel.
