About the Role
As a Physics Teacher you will teach Physics across Key Stages 3 and 4 with the potential to teach A-Level depending on experience. You will plan deliver and assess engaging lessons that foster scientific curiosity and critical thinking while maintaining high standards of behaviour and achievement.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering Physics lessons across KS3 and KS4 with optional KS5 opportunities

• Planning and delivering differentiated engaging and challenging lessons

• Conducting practical experiments safely and effectively linking theory to real-world applications

• Assessing pupil progress providing constructive feedback and supporting development

• Contributing to curriculum development and departmental planning

• Maintaining a safe organised and stimulating learning environment

• Supporting extracurricular Science activities including STEM clubs and competitions

• Collaborating with colleagues across the department and school

Experience and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold a degree in Physics or a closely related Science subject

• Have PGCE or QTS or be completing an ECT programme

• Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and passion for Physics

• Have experience teaching secondary pupils or relevant placements for ECTs

• Be confident in planning practical lessons classroom management and assessment

• Be committed to inclusive teaching and safeguarding
