The role will involve:
Leading and developing the English department
Teaching English across KS3 KS4 and KS5
Driving high standards of teaching learning and assessment
Preparing students for GCSE and A-Level English examinations
Supporting and mentoring members of the English department
Contributing to curriculum planning and departmental development
You will play a key role in shaping the direction of English within the school while ensuring students achieve exceptional outcomes.

The ideal candidate
Qualified Teacher with QTS or equivalent
Strong subject knowledge in English Language and Literature
Ability to teach English across KS3 KS4 and KS5
Leadership experience or readiness to lead a department
A collaborative and academically focused approach to teaching
