Job Summary
Role Overview:
Fennec Services is seeking experienced and reliable skilled carpenters for both local and remote work opportunities. This role offers high pay rates flexible arrangements and the chance to work on a variety of residential commercial and remote-site projects. You will join a small supportive team that values quality workmanship safety and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret plans specifications and schedules to deliver works to scope
Complete accurate material take-offs and report material needs to supervisors
Set out works and ensure finished work conforms to dimensional requirements
Operate hand and power tools plant and small machinery safely and efficiently
Undertake finish and remedial works to a high standard
Work independently or as part of a team supervising apprentices or labourers where required
Travel to and work on remote project sites for extended periods when required (2 weeks)

Preferred Skills & Experience:
Qualified carpenter or equivalent trade experience
Proven experience across residential builds renovations fit-outs or commercial projects
Ability to work to drawings specifications and quality standards
Experience supervising small teams and mentoring apprentices advantageous
Current relevant tickets and licences (e.g. white card forklift elevated work platform) preferred
Valid drivers licence and willingness to travel to remote sites
Physically fit reliable and able to work extended shifts on remote projects
Strong communication skills and a client-focused problem-solving approach
