Job Summary
Role Overview:
Fennec Services is seeking experienced and reliable skilled plant operators for a short-term two-month engagement operating dozers and graders on construction and site-preparation projects. This role offers competitive hourly rates immediate start and the opportunity to work with a small supportive crew that prioritises safety efficiency and high-quality workmanship. Multiple vacancies available for operators who hold the required tickets and can work reliably for the full duration.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate dozers and graders safely and efficiently to complete earthworks site formation batter construction road grading and general site maintenance
Conduct pre-start inspections and routine checks on plant; report defects and arrange minor maintenance as required
Work to grade level and surface specifications using survey markers stringlines and instructions from supervisors
Coordinate with site supervisors other operators and ground crew to ensure works are completed to scope and on schedule

Preferred Skills & Experience:
Proven experience operating dozers and graders on civil construction or earthworks projects
Current relevant plant tickets and licences (e.g. HR licence where required heavy machinery operator tickets)
White Card (construction induction) and any site-specific induction requirements
Competent in reading instructions levels and basic plans; able to work to grade and finish requirements
Strong safety record reliable and punctual with a professional attitude
Ability to work extended shifts where required and remain focused during long operating periods
Valid drivers licence and willingness to travel to site locations
