Position Overview
The Service Porter plays a critical role in the daily operations of the service department. This position is responsible for supporting advisors and technicians by maintaining vehicle flow assisting customers and ensuring the service drive and lot remain organized and professional.
This is a fast-paced position that requires someone who takes pride in their work stays busy and understands the importance of teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
Safely move customer and dealership vehicles throughout the service drive and parking areas
Maintain organization of the service lot and vehicle staging areas
Assist service advisors with vehicle check-ins and customer support when needed
Keep the service drive clean organized and presentable at all times
Prepare loaner vehicles and assist with loaner exchanges
Shuttle vehicles between departments when required
Ensure vehicles are properly parked secured and protected
Assist with basic vehicle preparation and cleanliness when needed
What Were Looking For
Strong work ethic and a sense of urgency
Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude
Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment
Team player who takes pride in helping the entire department succeed
Comfortable interacting with customers and staff in a professional manner
Ability to follow instructions and take initiative when work needs to be done
Qualifications:
- Able to operate both automaticand manual transmissions.
- Enthusiastic
- Friendly
- Minimum of 18 years old with a current valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record.
- This position requires the ability tobend kneel walk or stand for long periods of time in all types of weather.
