Job Summary
Position Overview
The Millwork Sprayer / Finisher is responsible for applying high-quality finishes to custom wood products such as cabinets doors panels and architectural millwork components. This role requires strong experience with spray finishing techniques surface preparation and finishing materials to ensure consistent high-quality results that meet customer and production standards.
Core Responsibilities

Apply stains lacquers paints sealers and topcoats to millwork products using spray equipment

Prepare wood surfaces through sanding cleaning and masking prior to finishing

Mix and match stains and finishing materials to achieve required colors and textures

Operate spray guns and finishing equipment safely and efficiently

Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met

Perform touch-ups and rework when necessary

Maintain finishing equipment spray booths and work areas

Follow safety procedures and environmental regulations when handling chemicals and finishing materials

Work closely with production and woodworking teams to meet project deadlines
Required Qualifications
-
Minimum 5 years of experience in millwork finishing or spray finishing

Experience finishing wood cabinets doors furniture or architectural millwork
-
Strong knowledge of stains lacquers varnishes and polyurethane finishes

Experience using HVLP spray guns or similar finishing equipment

Ability to read finishing schedules and follow production specifications

Strong attention to detail and quality control
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with custom cabinetry or architectural millwork

Knowledge of color matching and stain blending

Experience working in a manufacturing or woodworking environment

Familiarity with sanding equipment and finishing preparation processes
