CMMS Specialist Oracle JD Edwards

Position Overview
The CMMS Specialist will provide technical and functional consulting services supporting the Authoritys digital transformation initiative by optimizing the Oracle JD Edwards (JDE) Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
This role focuses on improving maintenance operations through enhanced work order workflows preventive maintenance programs asset lifecycle management and CMMS data quality. The CMMS Specialist will collaborate with operations maintenance and IT teams to streamline maintenance processes and integrate CMMS data with enterprise systems including SCADA GIS LIMS and business intelligence platforms.
Key Responsibilities
CMMS Administration & Configuration
- Configure and maintain Oracle JD Edwards modules including Capital Asset Management (CAM) Work Order Management Preventive Maintenance and Purchasing.
- Optimize system workflows to support digital maintenance processes and reduce manual or paper-based approvals.
- Manage user roles security settings system parameters and coordinate system upgrades and patches with IT teams.
- Develop operational reports and dashboards using ReportsNow DAS or similar reporting tools.
Work Order & Asset Management
- Improve and standardize work order management processes.
- Support preventive maintenance program development and optimization.
- Maintain accurate asset lifecycle and maintenance data within the CMMS environment.
Data Quality & Integration
- Assess and improve asset master data accuracy through data cleansing and standardization initiatives.
- Support integrations between JD Edwards and enterprise platforms including SCADA (AVEVA PI) LIMS (Clinisys) GIS (Esri ArcGIS) and Power BI.
- Provide structured CMMS data for enterprise reporting and operational dashboards.
Mobile & Field Operations
- Support configuration and adoption of mobile field applications such as Rinami Cantara.
- Enable paperless work order execution field inspections and asset condition reporting.
- Develop training materials and job aids to support field technicians.
Governance Reporting & Support
- Participate in digital maturity assessments related to maintenance systems and processes.
- Define and monitor maintenance KPIs such as preventive vs. reactive maintenance ratios and mean time to repair.
- Deliver role-based training for CMMS users and provide Tier-2 support and troubleshooting.
- Maintain system documentation including SOPs configuration guides and training materials.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of hands-on experience with Oracle JD Edwards (EnterpriseOne or World).
- Experience configuring JDE Capital Asset Management (CAM) and Work Order Management modules.
- Experience with ReportsNow DAS or equivalent JDE reporting tools.
- Familiarity with mobile field service applications (Rinami Cantara or similar).
- Strong data analysis skills including Excel and basic SQL or JDE data dictionary navigation.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Experience working in utilities public sector municipal or infrastructure environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne certification.
- Experience integrating JDE with SCADA GIS LIMS or BI platforms.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Power BI and Power Automate.
- Knowledge of ISO 55000 asset management principles.
- Experience supporting digital transformation or ERP modernization programs.
- Professional certifications such as PMP CBAP or equivalent.
