Azure Architect
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Azure Architect to lead the design implementation and optimization of secure scalable and high performing cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure. This role partners closely with infrastructure networking security and DevOps teams to drive cloud standards automation and operational excellence across enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Design & Architecture
Lead the design of scalable secure and high availability Azure cloud architectures aligned with business and technical requirements
Define and enforce Azure architecture standards best practices and patterns across environments
Infrastructure & Platform Engineering
Build deploy and manage Azure infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform ARM/Bicep templates)
Provision and maintain core Azure services including Virtual Networks Virtual Machines Storage Accounts App Services and PaaS workloads
Support hybrid and enterprise-scale Azure environments
Security & Compliance
Partner with network and security teams to implement identity access management and network security controls
Leverage services such as Azure Entra ID Azure Key Vault Azure Firewall NSGs Private Endpoints and Defender for Cloud
Ensure cloud environments meet internal security compliance and governance standards
Monitoring Performance & Optimization
Implement monitoring and alerting using Azure Monitor Log Analytics and Application Insights
Analyze system performance and availability recommending optimizations and cost improvements
Automation & DevOps Enablement
Automate deployments operational tasks and remediation workflows
Integrate Azure environments with ServiceNow APIs for incident change and request workflows
Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes in collaboration with engineering teams
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience)
6 7 years of experience in cloud and/or infrastructure engineering
4 5 years of hands on experience designing and supporting Microsoft Azure environments
Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
Solid understanding of Azure networking security identity and monitoring services
Experience working in enterprise or regulated environments
