JOB TITLE: Aircraft Composites Mechanic

PAY RATE: $46/hour

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

Perform composite structural repairs on aircraft components and aerostructures
Analyze damage and determine proper repair procedures
Execute heavy composite repair work ensuring compliance with aerospace specifications
Follow approved repair manuals engineering drawings and repair documentation
Support AOG (Aircraft on Ground) repair situations when required
Maintain quality standards and adhere to all safety and regulatory requirements
Demonstrate technical leadership and provide guidance on composite repair techniques when needed

Requirements:

5 years of AOG composite repair experience
Strong background in composite structural repair (not just composite layup)
Experience performing heavy structural repairs
Ability to work independently and troubleshoot complex repair issues
Candidates will complete a plate test as part of the hiring process.
Successful candidates must pass composite repair certification testing following the plate test.
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working on the 787 Dreamliner
Previous experience supporting commercial aircraft composite structures
Familiarity with aerospace repair documentation and processes
