Job Summary

Title Certification Engineer

Location Atlanta Georgia (onsite only)

Experience 4 to 10 years

Job Description:

5 10 years FAA certification experience.
4 years Certification Engineer experience
Aerospace experience
Strong knowledge of FAA regulations certification processes engineering principles aircraft systems repair/fabrication practices.
Proficient with engineering drawings substantiation reports SRMs AMMs SBs IPCs.
Strong communication organization and technical writing skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Support and manage certification projects for timely STC approval.
Experience as a certification engineer
Prepare FAA certification documents: certification plans compliance checklists aircraft manual supplements test plans/reports and substantiation reports.
Coordinate engineering activities across development implementation installation conformity and certification phases.
Submit data and interface with FAA; ensure proper approval of Type Design changes with DERs.
Ensure compliance with Airworthiness Directives and coordinate AMOCs when required.
Review and validate engineering data for FAA certification requirements.
Evaluate customer technical data for compliance.
Maintain effective FAA communication and issue resolution.
Maintain expertise in FARs and related regulatory requirements.
