Summary
The Benefits internship role provides students with the opportunity to apply their academic knowledge and skills in a professional environment. This role will support and assist the HarbisonWalker International Total Reward Manager with reviewing our wellness program reviewing our benefits utilization performing audits and creating standardized processes.
Responsibilities
Requirements
- Pursuing a MA BA or BS degree in labor relations human resources or equivalent (minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0)
- Requires general knowledge of employee benefits or human resources
- Requires a problem-solving and analytical mindset who is interested in process improvement
- Requires the ability to influence people and teams Influencing skills with people and teams
- Requires the ability to maintain absolute confidentiality in all matters
- Requires the ability to convey a positive and professional image to executives employees and labor unions
- Requires computer operation skills including Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint Visio Project) and other software tools/ solutions as needed to prepare documents and presentations.
- Requires analytical skills and the ability to assemble data
- Requires time management and organization skills with accurate and precise attention to detail
- Requires strong interpersonal and communications skills and the ability to work effectively in a team and individual environment
