Job Summary
- Build executive dashboards in Looker to track strategic KPIs and business performance.
- Develop scalable semantic models using LookML with modular structures such as Extends and Refinements.
- Build Persistent Derived Tables (PDTs) and implement incremental refresh strategies for large datasets.
- Optimize query performance using Datagroups caching policies and efficient SQL design.
- Configure Access Filters User Attributes and row/field-level permissions to enforce data security.
- Implement advanced LookML parameters and Liquid logic for dynamic filtering and reusable modeling.
- Debug complex joins and prevent fan-outs using Symmetric Aggregates and advanced SQL techniques.
- Perform LookML Data Tests and Content Validator checks to ensure data accuracy and model integrity.
- Design scalable Explores Views and Measures in Looker for enterprise analytics.
- Develop SQL-based transformations and collaborate with Data Engineering on optimized warehouse schemas.
- Conduct performance tuning and model optimization to support high-volume executive analytics dashboards.
