Job Description
As a Security Officer - Flex Patrol Specialist in Honolulu HI you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Learn more: As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a luxury hotel and resort location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas complete routine rounds and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to guest and staff needs with clear communication and a customer-first mindset reporting concerns promptly and accurately. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to guests visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities within a hotel and resort setting.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including guest disturbances medical calls and fire or alarm activations and communicate with on-site management and local responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of guest areas back-of-house spaces parking areas and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or policy concerns.
- Monitor access points and control entry to restricted areas using visitor management practices key control processes and/or credential checks in accordance with site requirements.
- Complete detailed incident reports shift logs and other documentation and promptly escalate security-related concerns through the established chain of command.
Minimum Requirements:
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
