Blue Ridge Health is currently seeking a Practice Manager III to be part of our Clinical Team in Hendersonville NC.

What Youll Do:
The Practice Manager III oversees day-to-day operations of assigned clinic/practice locations to ensure the highest degree of efficiency and quality in patient care and patient flow.The Practice Manager III supervises large clinic sites with multiple service lines and/or one service line that has greater than 10 provider clinical FTE. Will also include resident training programs and supervision of additional support staff i.e. schedulers medical records radiology lab etc. Responsibilities include:
- Completes administrative duties and clerical functions in order to streamline and support the day-to-day operations of the clinic/practice.
- Provides administrative direction and coordination of current and long range policies procedures and programs of the practice and/or service line(s).
- Establish schedules task assignments and allocation of manpower space and equipment to ensure effective patient care and provide conformance with quality performance standards for efficient clinical service in the practice.
- Works with clinic/practice provider teams to resolve patient flow problems as they occur.
- Reviews all patient and customer complaints and works with patients to resolve complaints and clinic issues as they occur. Involves others in complaint resolution as needed.
- Responsible for human resources management of clinic support and clinical staff at clinic/practice site (may include clinical support staff team leads site coordinators patient navigators schedulers medical records patient access representatives).
- Directs and coordinates various personnel functions including but not limited to hiring performance appraisals disciplinary actions promotions transfers and vacation schedules for both clinic provider staff and support staff.
- Coordinates the orientation competency and ongoing training of all new employees at clinic/practice site.
- Assures quality customer service standards are upheld in the practice for all services.
- Responsible for oversight of financial management at clinic/practice site.
- Works in conjunction with the Director of Practice Operations to determine practice and service line fiscal requirements and approve budgetary recommendations for the clinic/practice.
- Monitors verifies and reconciles expenditure of budgeted funds on a monthly basis.
- Assists the Director of Practice Operations with planning the annual operating capital and training budgets for the clinic/practice.
- Directs the compilation of and/or prepare monthly operational reports and analyses setting forth progress adverse trends and appropriate recommendations or conclusions.
- Oversees ordering of all supplies along with assuring the proper maintenance of present office equipment. Reviews medical supply utilization and institutes cost-savings plans.
What Were Looking For:
- One to two years previous supervisory experience required.
- Must qualify as a Practice Manager II before being considered as a Practice Manager III.
- Experience working in an outpatient medical practice in a supervisory capacity preferred.
- Education: BA in Business or Health Care Administration or related field preferred.
- Equivalency: A combination of appropriate education and experience may be substituted for the minimum education and experience requirements.
- Clinical Licensure as an RN or LPN licensed in the state of NC preferred.
- Excellent knowledge of various computer programs including Word Excel and PowerPoint.
- Bilingual preferred.
- Active CPR preferred.
- Must possess a thoroughly professional and positive image at all times including effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with peers employees and the public.
- Skills in planning organizing delegating supervising and to make recommendations for improved operational systems.
- Must be capable of providing day to day supervision to staff employees using good management judgment and communication skills.
- Must be able to prioritize workload and demonstrate basic decision making and problem solving skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality requiring extreme sensitivity and disclosures that require discretion.
- Ability to communicate any real or potential problems to appropriate risk management staff.
