Due to the secure nature of the programme you will need to hold UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through this clearance. This role can be based anywhere in the UK with travel as required.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

In this role you will hold full accountability for a major multi-million pound public sector portfolio leading strategy client engagement delivery excellence and financial performance. You will act as the senior point of escalation build trusted executive relationships and shape long-term growth through a robust client development plan. By setting clear direction and empowering your leadership team you will ensure high-quality delivery across programmes and live services while continuously strengthening governance operational performance and client satisfaction.

You will cultivate a high-performing Partner community creating an environment of trust accountability and progression. Through clear objectives constructive challenge and active sponsorship of innovation you will drive sustainable growth improve commercial outcomes and ensure the portfolio consistently exceeds expectations.

Key responsibilities:
Lead & Grow the Account Own strategy P&L revenue margin orders and cash performance
Build & Strengthen Relationships Develop trusted CXO-level partnerships and manage senior escalations
Shape & Convert Pipeline Drive business development oversee forecasting and secure new opportunities
Govern & Assure Delivery Ensure effective governance risk management and service excellence
Inspire & Develop Teams Build capability lead performance conversations and enable career progression
Negotiate & Influence Guide complex commercial discussions and strategic agreements
Improve & Optimise Drive year-on-year improvements in financial and operational performance

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

You will be an experienced senior account leader with a strong track record of owning and developing large-scale public sector portfolios. You will bring full P&L accountability experience commercial acumen and the ability to lead complex multi-disciplinary teams in secure and highly governed environments. A confident communicator and relationship builder you will demonstrate resilience sound judgement and a clear focus on operational excellence and sustainable growth.

Essential qualifications and experience:
Proven experience leading large IT services accounts (multi-million ) with full P&L ownership
Strong background in public sector delivery ideally within public safety environments
Demonstrated success in business development pipeline governance and opportunity conversion
Experience managing complex escalations and senior stakeholder relationships
Track record of building leading and developing high-performing teams
Strong financial management capability across revenue margin orders and cash
