Job Summary
Job Purpose
To execute implement oversee and coordinate the manufacturing operations by meeting production target quality standards and following safety protocols. This position will lead a team of production staff monitor equipment functionality and collaborate with other departments to optimize workflow.

Shift Incharge is responsible for managing the production shift ensuring that all production staff are trained and fully productive. They will manage the production process to ensure quality productivity & safety.
Job Challenges:
oPlant and monitor production as per the requirement of the customer.
oEnsures systems and safety is followed in shifts
oEnsure the tak-time( cycle time of line) is met.
oImprove quality and minimize rejections

| KRA1 | Production / Operations | Supervising the production team during assigned shifts ensuring adherence to production schedules and targets. Ensure to meet the tak time of the line Oversees accurate shop floor reporting process to sustain positive inventory control on the manufacturing floor by reviewing timekeeping and production reports for accuracy and completeness Check production schedules to ensure that the necessary product is available for processing and optimum efficiency may be obtained including reporting problems and monitoring corrective action. Maintains a motivated and disciplined workforce by informing employees of company policies procedures and operational changes that are moderately difficult where precedents are usually established and utilizing behavior modification techniques as well as providing counseling and an initial outlet for grievance referral on complex or delicate situations. As needed informs supervisor of general operations workflow and possible constraints with respect to meeting the production schedule to maintain open communication channels and facilitate proactive approach to problem resolution. |
| KRA2 | Collaborate | Collaborate with the Production Manager to develop and implement efficient production processes and improvements. Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure equipment is properly maintained and serviced with minimum downtime Coordinate and collaborate with Quality team to ensure the parts are produced as per accepted quality Ensure the dispatch as planned |
| KRA3 | New developments & continuous improvement | Plan for new product developments Coordinate with product development teams for the execution of new developments Facilitates the implementation of continuous improvement principles and procedures such as Kaizen by assuming in the continuous improvement initiative evaluating cost-effective methods and procedures and promoting a team approach to the improvement of production flow or processing. Develops specific short-term procedures within the department where a good working knowledge of practices and procedures is required to facilitate continuous production. |
| KRA4 | Quality Control | Maintain high standards of product quality through regular inspections and adherence to quality control procedures. Maintains statistical process control data quality concerns and other production related data and ensures it is charted using existing quality control instructions and procedures to maintain or increase production efficiency. Develop new setup and operation plans to ensure practicality and appropriate manpower to meet projected production schedules based on readily available data with some unknowns. |
| KRA5 | Compliances | To do compliance with company quality assurance policies and established standards such as TS 16949 ISO 14001 etc. by assisting in developing and maintaining of work instructions and standard operating procedures to ensure quality products and timely delivery. Conducts periodic safety reviews and meetings for assigned employees to promote efficient compliance with company safety policies. Enforce safety regulations and promote a culture of safety awareness among production staff. |
| KRA6 | People Development | Conduct regular training sessions for production team members to enhance skills and knowledge. Troubleshoot and address operational issues promptly to minimize downtime. |
