Job Summary
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Vehicle Transactions:Bill new and used vehicle deals stock in new inventory and process dealer trades.
- Financial Records: Post daily cash receiptsand daily deposits.
- Administrative Support: Maintain office files and assist the controller or office manager with month-end closing. Will distribute mail answer phones and occasionally act the runner to the bank and post office.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Education:High school diploma or equivalent with postsecondary accounting coursework often preferred.
- Experience:Previous experience in accounting ideally within an automotive environment.
- Technical Skills:Proficiency in MS Excel 10-key typing and dealership software such as CDK or Reynolds & Reynolds. (Preferred not required)
- Attributes: High level of accuracy strong organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively with sales and management teams.
Compensation based on experience.
