Job Summary

We are hiring for Summer Camp Counselors!

We are looking for Head Counselors (21 yrs and older) for our Outdoor Youth Programs! Spend your Summer months in the beautiful outdoors teaching campers the basics of fishing. Our fishing camps range from 6-8 yr olds and 9-14 yr olds.

We visit private and public waters to fish for bass sunfish catfish crappie and whatever is biting! We have access to kayaks canoes and john boats that the campers utilize on the daily. Our main goal is to help campers build a positive relationship with the outdoors.

Applicants must work well in groups as well as be responsible adaptive and outgoing. Flexible hours competitive pay and a fun work environment! The job duties include leading instructional activities keeping campers safe in the outdoors communicating with peers and camp parents and helping to create a fun week!

Preferred work experience: Experience that complements being a camp counselor such as: Camp Counselor School Teacher Outdoor Educator Bike Instructor Raft Guide etc.

Helpful experience but not required: Knowledge of fishing mountain biking rock climbing kayaking canoeing hiking experience working or interacting with youth

Familiarity with various outdoor activities
Energetic and positive personality
Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (doing activities outside in the Summer)
First aid- and CPR-certified preferred for Head Counselors (if you dont have it we will organize a CPR class)

Pay: $650.00 per week (Pay may depend on skills and/or qualifications)

Must be able to pass a 3-year background check. Any job offer will be based on the results of the background check.
