Professionally develop and enhance your healthcare career at Interim Healthcare Staffing! We have an immediate need for a Case Cart Aide l aides to work in a busy OR in a local hospital. Gain valuable industry leading experience as you join our amazing team of healthcare professionals!
Schedule: Varying schedule between AM PM and overnight shifts. Would be AM for training. Could vary between part time to full time hours.
Location: St. Louis Park MN
Pay rate: $28.62 per hour AM or PM shift. $31.80/ hour NOC shift
Job Responsibilities:
- Stocks case carts with sterile supplies for Surgery.
- Print out scheduled case from Surgery IT System
- Follow procedures and work standard for taking supplies off shelves.
- Follows procedures for add-on cases and items not filled.
- Responds to the need for disposable items in emergency situations and sends to the OR.
- Maintain knowledge of supply inventory in the case cart area and identify by name and location.
- Stocks department with sterile and clean supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness of work area
- Demonstrates understanding of customer needs and assumes responsibility to meet them.
- Maintains good communication skills uses courtesy and helpful attitude on telephone or intercom with OR and other areas of the hospital.
Requirements:
- Experience working in a healthcare environment is preferred experience in a hospital setting is a plus.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills including appropriate use of English grammar and spelling.
- Demonstrated ability to function with multiple priorities and interruptions.
- Must be comfortable navigating a large hospital setting and being on your feet for extended periods of time.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
