Job Description
As a Security Officer - Vehicle Patrol Driver in Sacramento CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. As a Security Officer at a government location you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents while providing professional assistance to employees and visitors. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license and you may use a computer or tablet to document observations and communicate updates. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to facility staff visitors and vendors by following security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of government buildings parking areas and perimeter routes to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify potential concerns.
- Monitor access points and public areas observe for unusual conditions and assist with badge key and visitor control procedures as directed by post orders.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including disturbances medical events and/or suspicious activity and request additional assistance when needed.
- Complete detailed reports logs and incident documentation and communicate relevant information to site representatives and Allied Universal supervision.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Comfortable using computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Guard card/license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
