Start Date: ASAP (highly urgent)
Interview Process: 2 step with the hiring manager then the technical lead
Why Its Open
Need for a dedicated Sr. Control Panel Designer to support growing battery system deployments.
Increasing project volume and customer demand.
This role complements PCB-level design by owning panel-level wiring controls and power integration.
About the Team
Same BMS-focused Electrical Engineering team supporting grid-scale energy storage.
Works closely with PCB designers and system engineers.
Team environment is collaborative inclusive and execution-focused.
About the Role / Mission
Design and document control panels used in Form Energys battery systems.
Focus is on wiring interconnections power distribution and controls not PCB layout.
Supports the Auxiliary Management Unit (AMU) which sits within the auxiliary control panel and interfaces with PCB electronics.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Control Panel Design
Design auxiliary battery system control panels using E-Plan.
Create wiring diagrams and panel layouts.
Ensure all components are correctly connected and controlled.
Electrical Integration
Design power and control wiring between boards panels and systems.
Select appropriate control components and interconnects.
Ensure panels meet electrical and safety requirements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with PCB Layout Designer and EE team.
Support integration between board-level electronics and panel-level systems.
