Technical Officer (Electrical)
Job Summary
Job Description:
- Lead a team of technicians for facilities management related activities in the building.
- Carry out routine inspection preventive maintenance and repairs of electrical systems (lighting power distribution panels motors UPS generators etc.).
- Monitor electrical system performance and report faults risks and improvement opportunities.
- Respond to breakdowns and support troubleshooting to restore normal operation quickly.
- Assist in managing contractors and supervising electrical maintenance works.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations permit-to-work procedures and statutory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities equipment history and spare parts usage.
- Support energy-saving initiatives and technical upgrades within the facility.
- Participate in emergency response for electrical-related incidents.
- Any other duties as and when assigned.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering with at least 1 year of relevant experience or Higher NITEC in Electrical Engineering with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Good knowledge of electrical systems codes and safety practices.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and use basic electrical measuring tools.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and possess good interpersonal skills.
- Has a good safety mindset and displays good WSH behaviour.
