People Culture & Congregational Services Supervisor
Job Overview: The People & Culture and Congregational Services Supervisor is responsible for the operation and cultivating of the ministrys volunteer community through creative initiatives assists in the planning and coordinating of internal and external of all congregational services volunteer related activities and experiences that establishes the culture that fits King Jesus Ministrys vision for both volunteers and staff. This role involves aiding in building and managing the hospitality ministry recruiting and retaining volunteers and contributing creative ideas to enhance monthly services and major events of KJM. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Creates plans and organizes all logistical details for services and assigned events by working together with all necessary departments to ensure successful services/activities align with organizational goals and objectives
Recruits trains and supervises the volunteer body to support services/ activities planning and execution.
Assists in preparing and monitoring department budgets and expenses and ensuring activities stay within the approved budgetary requirements.
Responsible for the management of resources and volunteer software.
Creates executes and oversees services monthly experiences from preparation and set-up through teardown to ensure adherence to planned format compliance with KJM policy and procedures support vendors resolve any unplanned issues and ensure the overall satisfaction of participants and KJM.
Oversees the running of background checks for volunteers and ensures all departments follow compliance regarding volunteer guidelines and procedures.
Establishes and maintains a hospitality team for the ministry and for the welcome center and trains and grows a reliable team of volunteers.
Schedules and executes new volunteer orientations and continual culture training throughout the year for volunteers and staff.
Works with security and legal to ensure compliance for all service and ministry areas.
Collaborates with Human Resources and Administration to foster culture engagement amongst staff and volunteers.
Supports administration in culture experience and ensures standardized KJM wide.
Creates Standard Operational Procedures (SOP) as needed.
Develops strategies for guest experience and engagement.
Implements and reviews statistical data of surveys and executes strategic actions to resolve weak spots.
Represents any and all ministries/areas that arent led by an employed leader.
Manages the volunteers lounge on a weekly basis including inventory and all other necessary operational aspects of the same.
Creates documents systems structures and processes to simplify and streamline current operations.
Provides support to other departments during special events/services to help meet organizational needs. This may include a temporary adjustment in schedule and assignments.
Undertakes various event duties as needed. Including but not limited to event planning research report generation and others.
Other duties may be assigned.
Local national and international travel may be required

Education and/or Experience Requirements
Bachelors degree in Hospitality Business Administration or a related field and 2 years in administrative and management experience or related experience.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in hospitality or related field
Spiritual Qualifications

Be a born-again Christian who conducts affairs in accordance with the Bible and maintains a lifestyle consistent with the Scriptures.
