As a Security Officer - Hospital Driver Patrol in Valencia CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a hospital setting you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a highly visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and support patients visitors and staff with clear communication and strong customer service. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients visitors and staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including medical facility disturbances disruptive behavior and requested assistance calls.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout hospital buildings parking areas entrances and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor flow by observing entry and exit activity confirming authorization as directed and assisting with wayfinding and patient transport support when requested.
• Complete patrol logs and incident reports communicate observations to site leadership and/or public responders and support security-related investigations by documenting facts and preserving information.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of security experience is required.
• Hospital vaccines experience is required.
• Hospital morgue experience is required.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Experience restraining individuals in a hospital environment is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of service in a healthcare and/or medical-related field is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
