The Assistant Director of Security is responsible for overseeing daily security operations at assigned client sites. This includes supervising personnel ensuring adherence to post orders and maintaining a high standard of safety and professionalism. The role requires strong leadership attention to detail and a commitment to client satisfaction.
Assistant Director of Security - $21.54/hr
Location: Auburn MA
Schedule: 7:00AM - 3:00PM (Sunday/Monday) 3:00PM - 11:00PM (Tuesday/Wednesday) 1:00PM - 9:00PM (Thursday)
Education/Experience: High School Diploma or G.E.D. and 2 years of related experience or an an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job as determined by the company. Minimum 2 years of experience in security or management preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: Supervise Security Officers and Site Supervisors in the absence of the Security Director ensuring all duties are performed in accordance with post orders and company policies.
Training & Development: Train new and existing staff review post procedures and ensure team readiness.
Scheduling & Coverage: Coordinate shift coverage and ensure all posts are staffed appropriately.
Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for client representatives addressing concerns and ensuring service excellence.
Incident Management: Respond to emergencies conduct investigations and file detailed reports.
Performance Management: Coach discipline and evaluate staff performance; document actions and escalate as needed.
Patrolling & Inspections: Conduct regular site inspections and patrols to ensure safety and compliance.
Administrative Support: Assist with payroll personnel documentation and report submissions.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or G.E.D. and 2 years of related experience or an an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job as determined by the company. Minimum 2 years of experience in security or management preferred.
Must meet all state and local licensing requirements.
Strong leadership communication and organizational skills.
Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
Proficient in intermediate computer use and report writing.
Reliable transportation and communication.
