| Job Description: | - Develops and maintains Canvas-based assignments and instructional resources that faculty and staff can use to embed student success concepts within academic and co-curricular experiences. Coordinates and maintains Canvas course shells and best practices for CIP departmental use. Implements outreach strategies to increase awareness engagement and participation in the Canvas-based student success assignments initiative while supporting data collection and assisting with trend analysis related to Canvas engagement and technology integrations. Supports the delivery of scalable student success experiential learning and student outcomes offerings by assisting with the administration promotion and day-to-day maintenance of assigned student engagement platforms. Manages vendor relationships for assigned technology ensuring the implementation of system updates and adherence to system usage best practices. Monitors platform functionality completes routine administrative tasks and provides basic troubleshooting support to students and campus partners. Coordinates partner onboarding faculty/staff training and the rollout of new system features or enhancements.
- Provides individual and group career coaching services to University of Florida undergraduate and graduate students from all majors and colleges. Facilitate career education workshops classroom presentations and tabling opportunities associated with the assigned initiative area and related career development topics in support of the centers strategic plan. Engages with campus partners (i.e. alumni staff faculty employers families) to promote career readiness tools and programming. customizes existing center marketing materials and resources for specific programs and initiatives.
- Serves as a point of contact for the multiple projects within the Career and Integrated Partnership (CIP) portfolio focused on impacting student success experiential learning engagement and post-graduation outcomes. This support includes outreach presentations workshops office support hours and tabling at portfolio signature events. Create internal resources and deliver training that equips CIP staff to effectively integrate assigned initiatives into programs workshops and 1:1 engagement. Builds relationships and creates connections across departments to advance the universitys overall mission. Maintains regular communication with portfolio partners through appropriate channels and attends meetings with staff at all levels for the exchange of information and integration into programs and services.
- Aids in maintaining quantitative and qualitative records for various types of interactions for assessment and reporting purposes to demonstrate impact. Manages database systems and tracking documents to maintain records of assigned scalable services usage. Creates regular reports and summaries to highlight trends identify opportunities for improvement and support decision-making by supervisors and portfolio leadership. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of career development trends and best practices.
- Performs other administrative duties as assigned by the Director and higher authorities in the department and staff meetings and one-on-one supervision meetings to ensure clear communication with colleagues and supervisors. Support department portfolio and division-wide all-hands-on-deck events and programs. Participates in department division and university-wide supervises interns or student assistants. May have indirect impact on the position duties of other Center staff members. Lives out Centers values in all aspects of job function.
